The code followed by all video files is:

L_T_k_sigma_Vb_alpha_beta_B.mp4

Where:

  • L is the spatial length of the infinite quantum well measured in Angstroms.

  • T is the time of the simulation, with each step lasting 0.25 femtoseconds.

  • k is the initial wave number of the Gaussian Wave Packet (GWP).

  • Sigma is the initial dispersion of the GWP.

  • Vb is the height of the potential barrier.

  • Alpha is the linear term of the Rashba Spin-Orbit Interaction.

  • Beta is the cubic term of the Rashba Spin-Orbit Interaction.

  • B is the second component of the initial pseudospinor configuration. (All pseudospinors begin with the first component equal to 1).

    • If B says 0j we assume it equal to 0.

    • If B says 1.0 we assume it equal to 1.

    • If B says 1j we assume it equal to i.

    • If B says im we assume it equal to e^(ipi/4).

WITHOUT POTENTIAL BARRIER

Inside this link you will find the folder of all animations and numerical data of 1DGWPs.

The root folder contains:

  • Data (CSV documents, each one containing a full temporal evolution)

  • Vids (mp4 videos, these are the animations)

Inside each folder you will find the simulations divided by their characteristics.

Navigate through the folders to find any animation you want.
